You just reminded me that Stage6 is dead Long live Stage6! (...on my hard drive at least [I had the foresite to download most of the rare stuff while the going was good]) BTW: (UK only) I now watch as much on BBC iPlayer as I do on TV
this one annoys me. it seems like such a great service, i'd really love to use it. but then they limit it to the states. i understand why (all the exclusive licenses to rebroadcast and stuff), but it's just frustrating that there is such a great free service that i could be supporting, but they are forcing me to use torrents instead. and try this video demo for miro - it seems to work.
Comedy Central have lots of decent quality videos from the Daily Show et al (including full shows). They also let us Europeans watch, which is jolly nice of them.
For those with a love of archiving masses of videos (like me ), there's UKNova and TheBox. I prefer UKN, and they don't allow material which is available to buy, meaning you can download everything without worrying about illegal downloads. TheBox allows copyrighted/released material, so be warned.
