After over two years and 85K wus I've finally reached my aspirational goal, 100 Mil :D I know it's only a drop in the ocean in the search for a cure but I'm going to allow myself a bit of smugness anyway :naughty:

A great big thanks to the whole team for making this such a great experience. We've had our highs and lows especially around the first Chimp Challenge but you guys have made folding, what it should be, fun and interesting :thumb:

Special thanks and respect go to DocJonz, Dave_Goodchild and Justin_Wells for giving me such a lofty target to shoot for in the first year. They, along with many others, earned many of their points the hard way before anyone had ever heard of GPU or bigadv clients. Kudos to coolamasta and Lizard (before he had his toys taken away:() for keeping me on my toes and making sure I didn't slack too much. Also to saspro who has provided the leadership to the team in the time and effort he has put into getting people started and helping resolve issues as they arise.

Just need to figure out what to do to keep folding as addictive in the future. In the short term this may entail providing an assist to the [H] in their race with EVGA to 4 Bil. I may not agree with their philosophy toward the CC but, bloody hell, their spirit and determination in trying to fight off the juggernaut is absolutely amazing.

I've also been trying to come up with some ideas for the crazy contests we used to talk about but I'm pretty time limited right now and am not the most imaginative of sorts anyway. I'm still willing contribute some graphics cards (factory OCed 8800GTs and GTX285s) as modest prizes if anyone can dream up and organise something that will inspire new people to start folding/join the team.

Folding and fun chaps. Folding and fun.

    Bob

Well done mate! That is an amazing achievement in one year :D

I'm struggling to produce anything at the moment... I desperately want to fire my (still only 4) rigs up and let them run 24/7 but the cost of running them went up for me massively a while ago and at the rate I was going, I would never have gotten the large folding machine project (60-80K PPD from one box) finished if I hadn't slowed down and put the money that saved into trying to get it finished off. I expect to be folding at full speed again by the start of next year... hopefully.

Just back from work and I'd like to say very well done sir! May you and the likes of saspro, DocJonz et al continue to be an aspirational target for us mere minions.

It's something to aim for that magical extra 1 number in front of everyone else.

May there be many more millions under your belt.....

    Fold On!
