    A quick 3d diary:
12:37 - no 3d apps, but want to post a rendering, so I go get a 3d app
12:38 - 3d app installed (legally) and ready to use
12:39 - open blender and try to come up with a quick rendering using the sample objects
    12:50 - upload finished rendering
12:52 - write a silly 3d diary and post the pic:

Not bad considering 15 minutes ago I didn't even have a 3d program installed, and now it is installed, ready to go, and was 100% free of charge :D
(I understand the strengths of 3dsMax/Lightwave/etc, but for the budget designers out there, blender is awsome!)

Here's some stuff I made a while back:

    Animations:
3d monkey head composited into my office (116K)
    the 3d cube with 117 rotating (1.4M)

    Google Video of above animations:

    3d cube rotating

I also made this background for my laptop during christmas, which is also when I did a cheesy reindeer to show my dad how easy it was to model in blender (it was based on an ornament they just bought). I also made just a bunch of cubes once.

Oh, did I mention I'm a minimalist (other than posting.. then I just ramble)
