    It's okay, but do you find that the chair creaks like an old warship?

    The fan is necessary in summer as the temperature in here around 5 o'clock is hot enough to melt lead.

    Yeah, the house was joined up to next door and converted into a hotel during the 60'/70's then split back into houses. Most rooms still have a sink in them.

    Greg, I'm a big fan of your desk, chair, and case.

    I took a new panorama shot today:

    I don't particularly care for getting extension cables and doing all the wall-wiring and whatnot for a $50 set of speakers that I listen to 2-channel stereo music 99% of the time with.

    The X-530 (what Slizza and I have) is probably the best $50 i've ever spent, and having a quality 5.1 system for so little is epic win.

    Even if i'm not using it in 5.1, it's not like i'm wasting the capability... I'm just using it in 2.1 mode.

    Greg. I want your monitor. I've been looking for one for ages...It also doesn't help that all I have is my measly 18" S-IPS.. :lol:

    My mom was given it from the company she worked at. No idea :D All I can say is, it's the biggest desk I've ever owned :rock:

    See below;

    I use the micro system which is 2 x 80 watts rms for general music use, and my headphones which are audio technica ath-a900's for phones use.

    1; I don't watch movies on my pc that often. I also can't be arsed with the extra wires, and I just bought this 2.1 setup for the lounge where I can watch movies on a 37" Panasonic Viera.

    Yeah, it's not 5.1, but it pumps out some serious bass and looks pretty sick too. Again, minus the extra wires etc.

    Oh and I'd rather watch a movie on the couch, than on my bed. 20" is just too small to watch from my bed.

    Yeah it's pretty sweet. I bought a viewsonic VX2235 or something and returned it as I was so used to having a glossy screen (had a 17" sony lcd before), the viewsonic just looked crap. The colours on the NEC just pop. I paid £350 for mine over the 250 or something the viewsonic was going for. Was totally worth the extra cost. I've seen a few going on ebay. I was actually tempted to buy a second one xD

    If only I had enough space, I'd make a rip-off of that design. I'm liking the way it's utterly huge. Or then I should just get rid of the three amps on my table to make some extra space for the paper stuff.

    Out of curiosity, do you still use the Kos-Mos case? For some reason I was expecting it to be in the picture.

    I think you mean 'basin' :D

    Edit - actually I think that might only be my mother's teaching - that a basin is for hands and a sink is for in the kitchen.
