I think that chair looks so uncomfortable it could be used as a torture device...

Basic, yet functional. Sometimes I wish I could have a desk that spartan. The chair isn't exactly a plus point though ;)

    ^This!

In reference to the beds? Not only is mine too narrow to sleep myself and a lady friend, it's hard as hell, and squeaks everytime I move on it..

    Yay.

The chair looks far worse than it is, sometimes I throw a pillow over the back bar and it's halfway decent.

Still, a good chair is high on my list of future purchases..

You kidding? My bed in this shared flat is so comfy (I'm not in halls, they ran out of space, I'm in IQ student accommodation - google it) it's significantly better than my one at home.

The heavy drinking is just for fun, not sleep ;)

Not kidding, also the notice board above the bed has the ability of waking you in the night as you skin you elbow whilst turning over.

Thanks! I love my MDR-V6es a bunch. The chair was bought from the Salvation Army a while ago and the desk is one of the DIY customizer tables from Ikea, nothing remotely Amish here

It was from Staples. I just looked, and can't see it on their website. It was reduced from £200 to £99, so maybe it's an end of line product.

Would you happen to be living in private accommodation, near Gatecrasher perhaps? Only that room looks really familiar to one my friend is staying in(but the desk/bed are the other way around).

Why yes I certainly would be, I am 2 minutes from Gatecrasher. I'm in the IQ building (QHC is across the road though, don't know what that looks like inside). And some of the rooms are the other way to squeeze them all in.
