Just thought I'd put a few up.

Been some changes since these pics were taken, like the fact that the front speakers are properly mounted now rather than being stood on a pile of magazines!

Thinking about buying three Lian Li C32B HTPC cases and mounting the main rig, file server, amp and consoles all in a rack. Just not too struck on the cooling options the C32B has to offer :worried:

If anyone is wondering, yes that is a Prometeia Mach II GT unit with the Lian Li front plate. It isn't in use on my i7. There's also another phase change case hiding in the corner, an old Vapochill XE :)

Not the neatest arrangement at the moment, but what do you guys think?

My two latest additions to my Apple family:

Magic Trackpad that I picked up this week, and a new, Early 2011 base (2.3GHz i5) MBP 13". Had the option to go for the top-end early 2011 model (2.7GHz i7) at £999, but decided against it as this model isn't much slower than the i7 model at all (minimal difference with Handbrake, the most intensive thing it'll see, and no difference in normal usage), and I feel that the £100 saving is worth it as a result.

Just needed a basic use machine, with a better display than the MBA (which hurt my eyes!).

    Old-school awesomeness.

I remember when phase-change setups were all the rage for those with a lot of disposable income - looks awesome. Love the old-school Lian-Li too, I'm still rocking my old PC-65 from 2003. :D

Got my monitor swing arm in! the secondary is sitting on the swing shelf the desk came with, worked out pretty well.

Not sure I could cope with having a gap between my two screens, but apart from that, that's nice and neat! You need to tidy those cables underneath your desk though :)

    Indeed, it's driving me nuts.
I want to hide the ones from the monitor as well, but they are not long enough to do any thing with.

As for the gap I didn't like it either at first but I kind of like it now, once I get the second monitor arm It'll be much better!

And at some point matching monitors.

Get some longer DVI/HDMI cables from fleabay so you can neaten that lot up. If you want to hide the cable, Richer Sounds do some decent curved conduit that is slightly porous so you can paint it with emulsion :)

At some point, probably after June I'll be switching over to three 24" monitors.

    What TV is that?

I would be really tempted to channel into the walls for the cables there :p

    Looks like a 40" Samsung 6530?

    I'd channel the walls too.
