Grrrr. Am sat here in my office with my card freshly delivered - Overly tipsy: Weather is amazing, so pub for late liquid lunch - and there's nothing I can do other than wait to go home and get this bad boy installed! Also able and willing to do single 580 and single 680 comparisons if anyone gets a request in between now and installation later this evening! TSB
Heaven maxed @ 1920x1080 (2 cards) Both these benches were done with 8x AA Heaven maxed 2560x1600 (2 cards) Ignore the min FPS. It's a glitch at the beginning of the benchmark. I couldn't seem to get round it.
I have to pop out for an hour or two, but will be back with more tests later, including BF3. Edit - Just played a round of TDM Noshar Canals with 43 players. The gameplay is vastly improved over my tri SLI 580 setup, with all settings on ultra and 4x MSAA. Very smooth indeed, so I would expect the benchmark to reflect this. Anyway, I must go out now, much as I don't want to.
Here's the equivalent 1920 bench using a single 580 (I sold one of my two 580s last month ahead of Kepler). My first 680 is arriving this evening - can't wait!
Got mine today. With a single card at 2560x1600 in BF3, I saw max 1.2GB usage on Low and 1.6GB on Ultra presets. That was on Caspian Border.
I saw higher figures as well with GTX580 SLi, I assume that has something to do with how SLi operates and how MSI Afterburner measures it. Likely a total figure for both cards.
Anything in particular? The basics seem to be being covered, so if you want some niche game/bench/resolution tested I'll certainly oblige!
