The hell does LOFAO mean?

I can only guess at "Laughing Our ****ing Asses Off" but.. Who does the "Our" refer to? Unless he has some multiple personality disorder perhaps..

Tbh, I'm worried.

Crystal Dynamics haven't done anything to reignite my TR playing, and this doesn't (at the moment) seem to make me want to play again.

I'm reasonably sure I'll play it at some stage (As I have with all the others), but whether I'll get more than one run out of it is another matter entirely.

Tomb Raider is starting to feel like McDonalds. It always seems like a good idea, and you really fancy it at the time, but you end up walking away disatisfied.

 

You've obviously never had a Double Sausage McMuffin...

Although this has put me in the mood to revisit the last few games...I'll report back if they don't live up to my expectations!

 

I'm not that worried myself as I never really played the old Tomb Raiders a lot..

So I'm excited either way

 

Just got my code from the never settle bundle so happy days, pre-load-a-rama

 

I like the direction they've gone though, I feel like Lara is more vunrable now compared to all the other games...Even playing mere hours of the older versions, you could just tell Lara was a bad ass in all of them..

 

It turns out that I cannot in fact run tomb raider, after the initial 'cave' sequence if freezes and crashes every 2-5 minutes!

its very poorly optimized for nvidia cards currently and doesn't run at all on sli rigs

 

It run veys very sweetly on ultimate settings at 2560x1440 with my 7970.

 

Runs really well in max settings for me, unless I enable Tress FX, which kills the frame rate from 50-60 FPS down to 25 odd....

Enjoyed what I have played so far.

But I learned something from this thread. I learned that Steam gives kittens cancer, and that some people on here hide behind a thin veil of maturity and decorum, ready to be whipped away to reveal their festering, twisted hatred at the slightest provocation. At least they all end up with the same custom user title in the end.

 

Really enjoying this, combat feels good, movement natural and the environments are very cool. Lara’s new vulnerability story wise make the experience all the more enjoyable, even if it does contrast her Sam Fisher like people killing skills in the game play!

I also like the more realistic proportion in Lara's physical form

However, there is one thing that is not forgivable, the over reliance on F***ing QTEs!!! Made worse by the fact that, the QTE icon seems broken, in that it actually does not tell you which key to actually press, commonly either E or F. I have seen the reviews, which are all for the console version and in those videos, the QTE even displays which button to press.

It feels like a bug but I suppose maybe it intentional on the PC version?

Unlike Hitman Absolution, TR is a good re-imagining of the series.

 

Yeah apparently the whole first part of the game is QTE QTE QTE....
