Because the case is prob more than 60kg? (infact ive damaged my desk lifting it onto it)im guessing, coz i cant lift it anymore hardly, im gonna have to take pics in situ, room is small.

I want to try take pics so it shows the artwork flowing ,
maybe i could take pics of panels separate on floor or laquered up?

Should run MSN and forums brilliantly now eh?
Gonna add some 2.5 bays on next internal structure for Monster3, im able to make/fabricate most things, but i feel things get spoilt once you go too arty farty..

    I wanted quality/ cleanish looks.

Im hoping the artwork isnt to overkil, but wont know till its assembled.

Easy enough for me to now make panel kits, plain one for the week and artwork ones back on for the weekend.

Thing im most happy about is that i guessed mobos would get bigger, so made it as a 10 pci slot, prob whilst xl format was on drawing board still, although i initially labeled mine up as SEATX, still prefer that over XL. :D

Im not a small bloke, and i lift quite alot at work sometimes, so pretty much 60 id say.

    top panel 12mm ally
    bottom panel 12mm ally

    structure 1.5mm steel

    side panels 3mm ally
    front/rear 5mm ally

case is 680mm high 320mm wide 580 width

    4 rads
    liquid
    mid plate 3mm ally

    its massive

That makes sense when you say it like that. Thinking about it mine probably weighs getting on for 15kg, maybe more.

he he, yeah matt, i know, im not as young as some of you guys anymore.

not heavy as such, but for a pc i think it is, if i win them handles, would prob need m12 bolts to fix it well.

when right panel fitted, youl get the full planet wrap

Even though artwork was expensive, i really am happy, shame im poor at photos, will try in daylight tomoz, to try show shiney.

im not putting on corner pieces yet, as i will remake from ss or get chromed, i need to add some pad at back of them to avoid scratching artwork.
this will allow me to fit side panels securly then

    Thanks ringo and bulldog,
i didnt realise an artwork could be so big, yet still so detailed, i think when i retire, would be something id like to learn, maybe for Monster 10 ?

Thanks, cant risk it, it will rip up the laquer, no hurry, so can wait till i do it proper like.

and its warmer downstairs, so i can look at panels all night, and watch tv also.

though the artwork isn't my favorite it is definitely amazing... all together its even more apparent just how outstanding it really is and how much time was dedicated to making it so. Congratz on this as it finally comes together mate!

60kg? 12mm panels? Why?! Is it built to survive small arms fire?

Btw, those steel corner brackets would blend in much better if they were black. :)

right, ok black for corner brackets, noted.

12mm panels, so the edges can be milled away for the side panels to slot in, could of possibly done 8mm, but no 8mm ally in stock.

60kg, thats just what it worked out at.

Soon be light, hoping to take some better pics.
unless i invite everyone round to see it instead,(but not practical i think)
