    Thanks Wayne,

The next bit i prob will do,the display 1 and display 2 on front panel, will have filter behind them, with blue lighting, then when i flip the switch (not decided which one yet) on front panel, the fans will go into stealth mode and the display bits will light up.

    Hoping will look cool.

This will prob mean though that the fan controller parts will only switch from one side of pot to other, so variable factor will be lost though.

Maybe i will do 2 sides?

    stealth1 for gfx loop
    stealth 2 for cpu loop?

sort of a noisy as standard, then stealth1, then stealth max, something like that?

I did also tidy some of the cabling up, although not much point, as i look at outside of case and monitor only.

Ok, even though ive not got all the pics on photbucket etc anymore, i still feel most people that have followed this build, will remeber.

This is my main pc and has been working just fine.

Well the other day i got off my backside and have started to do a few updates ive been meaning to get round 2.

Please noter these are "real" pics, no arty farty.

    1. The old mobo tray was only temp painted not powdered and was 2mm

Update is now 3mm thick with larger cpu hole cutout and with the monster text and xlatx text and the mobo moved up 15mm to allow more use of space.

    2. This meant a remake of the rear panel (not yet powdered)

Update allows psu horizontal or vertical mount, also the rear i/o parts are now expantion plates, to allow allsorts of modules (yet to be milled down so plate fits flush).
Also the custom logo on rear now added in.

    3. 10 pci slot i/o now remade (thanks to andybones for helping on this)

Update now white powdered with text.

I may start to tidy cables a bit more and so on.

    Results........
Mainly looks and hole perfection, prettiness etc.

Unexpected result..... System temp now 8c above ambient instead of 12c above ambient.
Not sure why, perhaps by moving mobo up, front intake more inline with hot bits, or perhaps because of the better psu vent holes?, dunno, but hey if it works, it will stay in the design.

    some pics.

Ive spoke to a watercutter about some bits, tried not to cry when he said price for use of his machine is £180 per hour, a little more than the £30 my boss charges where i work for stuff.

Waiting for a quote, but i can see it being a no for some other bits:jawdrop:

Still a mega build no matter what way you look at it. And getting better temps, is a nice little bonus.

    Cheers Jeff.

Having a large case, with options is great, and in some respects i may of been more future proof than i really secretly wanted.

So updates on my fav build seems the way to go at the moment.

I was a bit rough with the update this time, i was thinking if i broke it, would be an excuse to get that MSI xpower 2 thing.

I plan on making a single bay split res soon, as i asked xspc about making one, they said was no call for one (odd, i just called for one), so seems i will be making my own.

I have a new front panel design, whiuch allows 2 * dual split bays for the 4 loops, but that would mean having front artwork redone £££££££.

All good stuff, but like you say, spoiling the art work for the sake of it won't be good.
Knowing the way your head works, I'm sure you'll come up with some thing.
It will be good to see how that res comes out.

Hadnt planned on going too arty tarty farty on lighting.

But was bored, so decided to see what the logo lit would come out like.

I think its fine, but you can decide for yourselves.

Ive connected it to a front toggle switch, so i can turn it on and off as i please though.

As a side affect, it lights up the right panel also (looks deeper blue in the dark naturally.

Whats going on, why am i posting on here?

I will tell you, i decided to have my new mouse and mech keyboard arted up to suit theme.

These are pics before laquer, so the darkness and shine wont be apparent.

Now im not sure at first, but i think there growing on me, pre laquer shots are hard to tell what it will be like 100%.

I get prelaquered shots as it cant be changed after laquer easily, or additions /changes.

Less tends to be more i know and if i start saying i want this and this etc it will get messy maybe and too busy?

anyway enough, you want pics i know.

    Thanks.

I think the finger will look nice when the mouse is back together.

1 of them vegas fans has actually failed on the leds, grrrr not too good for such a pricey fan, will have to replace that one at some point.

    Thanks Jeff.

From experience i always find his artwork in real is better than his camera pics.

I asked him other day, where is my logos then.

He told me, keyboard will be fine, but prob too small for the mouse.

Now i know hes done very accurate small text before, but if he says no then prob best at no.

    Updated pics

2 weeks for laquer to properly dry, then can reassemble. not sure how i can wait, but will have too.

Price a touch more than i was expecting at £250, but not overly high.

I always know the quality is gonna be high from artist i use.

    I got bits back today.

Its a shame my pics cant do justice .
hard to explain the shine and the detail, but hope you like laquered and assembled up pics.
