It was already painted that colour when I picked it up. The standard colours are normally black or silver. As for space, I know there's loads but I I'm planning on squashing quite a bit of gear in to it. There's some parts that are going to be quite tight.

Eh, get yourself a crap cooler, aim the air upwards and make rice on the grills.

I was always thinking to buy and mod this case, it seems that is has a lot of potentials, nice cuts buddy though I would like to see the top part where you added 2 fan holes to be removed completely and be replaced with a clear or smoky black see through acrylic, it will look much better imo. Mod on bro! :)

You must be reading my mind Alex, I was just sitting here looking at it and thinking the same thing. I think I'll do it to match the front and rear so the same style carries all the way though the build.

Didn't think that case was that wide. Looking good so far my friend can't wait to see the colours

    It's pretty square @ 330mm wide and 360mm deep.

I'm not totally decided on paint yet, I've got 3 colour schemes in my head, so I'll decide once i've finished chopping stuff up.

this is a cool case, you dont see many of these cases which is a shame it has loads of potential, ill be watching this closely, i did notice you have done what i did with the back 4 air vents and cut them out.

i have just started to work on my Mozart tx too, i am in the process of getting together the photos and stuff for a blog (my first) so any advice would be cool :)

    Cutting more stuff up

So heres what I've been up to today..

First up, this little support bar is in the way so it had to get chopped up...[IMG]

It needs to be straight because it will interfere with my future plans..

You'll see what I'm up to later on

Next up I decided to open out the top panel instead of having the grills I had set it up for...

Then I tackled the front panel...

    Here's the original...

And after it had been carved up....

So thats pretty much it for today. With a bit of luck tomorrow I'll have the aluminum sheets I've ordered and I can start on the new grills and panels..

Thanks for looking and comments welcome as usual:thumb:

Even with all the space in this thing I think an SR2 would be a very tight squeeze, if it went in at all...

That said, with everything pulled out, I think maybe it would go in...lol

I haven't started on the front of the chassis yet:D

So far, with the amount thats gone, I reckon it must be about 10lb lighter. The aluminum on the front of this thing is 4mm thick FFS, if you hit some one with it you'd kill em:jawdrop:

Finding one's the problem. I'd just about given up and was gearing up for a scratch build when this turned up out of the blue, they're not easy to find unless you go for a new one. If you're lucky you might find some one with old stock as they stopped making them last year.

That's too bad, they seem to be a great modding case based on what I've seen so far.
