That's not bad for a couple of days work & it is out of 6000+ users.

Should only take a few days to hit top producer methinks

Are we aiming for top producer outright or just in the team?

Sod it just added 2 more Vmware clients another 4.5k Come on rest of you folders out there lets have some fun. Over 1000 hits the thread has had if only we could get all the folders who have stopped to start again

If I could get my GPU client and my CPU client to play together nicely i could add 500ppd to the cause... maybe when my dual core arrives next monday?

I load either client at startup, then manually add the other client and both grind to a halt

Do I have to use a VM to get the cpu client to work at the same time as the gpu?

No they'll both work together without using VM's

according to the logfile, when the gpu client is already running, i start the cpu client and a 'kill signal' is sent to the gpu client
[07:58:43] Got kill signal -- issuing INTERRUPTED core shutdown
    [07:58:43]
    [07:58:43] Folding@home Core Shutdown: INTERRUPTED
    [07:58:47] CoreStatus = 66 (102)
[07:58:47] + Shutdown requested by user. Exiting.
    Folding@Home Client Shutdown.

Have you set Configure -> Advanced -> Core Priority to Lowest Possible for the standard CPU client and to Slightly Higher for the GPU client, and on the same page Machine Identity should be different for the two clients (default is 1 for CPU and 2 for GPU)

i do frequent these forums on a regular basis unicorn but ive only have time to read just lately.
ive had a shedload of paperwork to do for my accountant which as tied me down for about 5 weeks now, although i have managed to find time to buy 2 new cases to house my 2 most important rigs (my gaming and browsing rigs)
boothy (who is on these forums to) is my humble paperboy and hes been helping watercool and rebuild both the rigs, one in a coolermaster haf932 and the other in a coolermaster cosmos.
i now have all my rigs folding for customPC and if the weather cools down a bit i may fire the other 2 up that i switched off a while ago because of the heat in my comp room.
    all the best spunky
