TBH, I prefer LCDs over CRTs. Again, no money for them.

The biggest problem I have with CRTs is, their image moves around when you move too much.

I only use CRTs at my service workstations. Been using LCD monitors since 2004, and been running a 26" Magnavox HDTV as my main monitor since 2007.

The only thing I really hated about CRTs was the weight. There's a famous picture somewhere of a guy in a command centre style setup with CRT monitors on racks above his chair...the idea of what would happen if the rack broke is just mortifying.

Friend of mine just asked this.

Does anyone who's still using a CRT have any ideas about this?

I have a gtx 460se hooked up to a 17" CRT, no problems. It had a 8800GTS (G92) before that also no problems.
