Case Mod - In Progress Battlestar Galactica Mod: Complete!

I never realised how many wires you had to hide. At least it is looking neat.

Here's a shot of the interior panels that Moddersmart cut for me:


Getting the wc up and running. Had a couple leaks, on both rad fittings. Wrenched on 'em too hard and
squished the o-ring out. doh! But I managed to replace them without too much trouble.




Shot of the left side behind the LCD panel. Distribution blocks for supplying power to the led's and lcd's. What a mess!


And a final teaser shot of the lcd panel up and running complete with DRADIS.



Will get more pics up during the showw. Gotta pack up now!

i think that wrist thingy is so well done you can put on the case and every one will think its realy suppose to be a part of the runway...the detile on that is amazing!

It's very bright & silvery, like a battleship straight from the showroom It will look even more awesome once you've finished all the paint. So were people drooling over it or what? Did they freak out when they got close and saw all the detail?

 

I saw this masterpiece in person... there are no pictures that can describe how great it looks 2 feet from your face...

 

You were able to stay that far away? Nerves of steel, man, nerves of steel!

 

I am very impressed. Looks fantastic.

Well, I made it back from Nvision last night around midnight. I will post pics of all the mods a bit later. It was a real great turnout, with about 15-20 mods competing. I got a third place finish. I was hoping for better, but I can't complain. At least I placed and took home some cash ($500), a new EVGA 790i F T W mobo, and GTX 260 vid card.

 

I mentioned it a few posts ago, but this was amazing workmanship all the way through. You should have placed higher IMHO. First place was a very clean rig, but surprisingly conservative...

 

The only thing that could have redeemed that contest what if you had won imho. Yours is the only one I wouldn't have minded losing to, but whatever, CPU is known for placing questionable mods in their "magazine".
