This case looks so damned good in this video, it's better than pron!
I think you cheated yourself to not show off the awesome blast doors at nvision though You had nothing to loose by showing them, and you may very well have won first place if you had shown them! The bouncing leds on your ram sticks look so cool Not that BSG didn't deserve 1st without them. The dvd drive is awesome, really unique & innovative, as is just about all the rest of the case. But not to worry, you are gonna pwn many case modding contests, heaps of 1st place prizes are waiting for you

I'm looking forward to see you apply the weathering detail and you should show off this air-lock mechanism you made for the blast doors!

 

dude, congrats on 3rd place... it obviously shoulda won 1st! honestly, that first place one is sooo mainstream modding its sickening. I could see that second place one being up there, but again, yours should have been first. ugh. o well, you got some cool gear out if anyways.

I'm truly amazed by the cool details you've pulled off.
I have no experience with mod contests... do they look at worklogs/pics of what you had to do to make it so, or do they just look at the finished product and features? You'd be getting extra bonus points for audacity from me!

This is impressive! A real world recognition of a really well done mod. I know not everyone knows about Bit-Tech but the SciFi channel is BIG. Well done!

Bod, hearty congratulations! You deserve every bit of exposure you get for this mod, it's surely been one of the best on here this year (obviously it's my personal favourite due to the subject matter and the way you've executed it!

As others have said, this is the first mod that I've seen picked up by a non-technology related site so that's a brilliant achievement, and hopefully one that will get other people doing similar things. I'm hoping someone gets tempted to do an SG1 mod now hehe

Things have been going great for BSG lately. I also just found out that BSG will be featured on a Canadian TV show!
"The Circuit", which airs on SPACE, will feature BSG in an upcoming episode on January 16th to commemorate the last half of the final season of BSG premiering that same day. Should be pretty cool, I wish I could receive Canadian channels lol.
