anyways if you would have been following this log you would of heard me say that i was intending to open up my own studio at some point, well due to the fantastic economic market that we are living in i'll never get a loan to get a base so for time being my "garage" is home to "Degenerate designs" more on that later

But because of a lot of interest local to me for having cases modded and painted i thought ummmm should really do my own in that case, so i know this will grate some people but hey thats buisness.

ok i was lucky in the fact that i had an air compressor and spray gun and happened to have some aluminium primer lying about i set about preping the surface of the case

sanded with 800 grit, washed down, tack rag... ready for prime followed by wet sand with 1200grit
and this is how it turned out







i know its not exactly exciting but paint should be delivered monday so will have more paint update on tues/weds

Hey, I checked out your site. It looks pretty clean, and well organized, however... I was a little freaked out by one of the banner ads on top of the front page... Apparently 2 of my buddies have a crush on me. I know I'm dead sexy and everything, but I prefer women...

well paint arrived today.. well about 5ish bit to late to start painting so will cracking with that tomorrow and weds so keep an eye out for pics being posted!!!

Also recieved my ram today but camera has not batteries so again more on that tomorrow promise. But details Crucial kindley upgraded the ram to a higher spec as the origional order was being delayed for such a long period!

Still trying to sell my current pc locally to finish the funding the gt500! fingers crossed it will sell soon

row just to reattach the doors after ive finished the lighting.... after putting everything in i realised that getting the water piping around is gonna be a tight squeeze so will let you all know how that goes

Just beautiful. I could nit-pick at the painted stripes but I'm guessing it's done by hand and not tape?

 

that crhome grill will you paint it same as the case ???

 

haha yeah i can understand where your coming from there!! i wasnt fully happy with the lines of the stripes so will be spending alot off time getting them straight and tidy with either the airbrush or pinstripe brush!!

but it is coming together slowly now nd its nice to see it almost complete

Just finished reading this from page 1, and all I can say is:
Wowza. Very nice indeed. Can't wait to see it all completed and tubed.

 

Darn, i'm colorblind so those acrylics looks like yellow for me and stripes rather dark red or gold than orange.

I'll be watching, nice work so far.
