    Virgin Media 20mb for me, I pay £25 per month IIRC as part of a deal otherwise it would be £37 a month standalone... :D

    That's centre-city for you. The saddest thing is that this is the best connection I've ever had :rolleyes:

    Just under 8 Mbps serves me fine, but I do need to check my next bill - because when I signed up, they said 18 Mbps "wouldn't be a problem", until a technician came by a few weeks ago to check up on my dying copper line; and then informed me that nobody here in the centre has got 18 Mbps, because it's physically impossible.

    I'd threaten to punch Orange's call centre staff if I didn't feel so damn sorry for them.

    Also, the current test (6.66 Mbps) is going to give me sodding nightmares. Thank you, Orange! :(

    10Mb package on Virgin Media. I've never had a single issue with the broadband and I've had it since Telewest started the 512Kb service way back in 2000 or 2001.

    I would be gutted if I had to move to a non cable area as our only choice in Dundee is Virgin or BT. And frankly BT are total pants, the exchanges are still to be upgraded to 20Mb!

    it comes up on the website as 7 meg, but i think thats from when i had an 8m connection, or does the sync speed stay the same?

    That's a pretty average score for me. I pay £35 a month for Virgin Large TV, Free weekend Phone and Internet.

    Worst bit is, it used to be the 3 for £30 deal but without telling me they put it up £5 saying it was because they're putting everyones broadband up to 10 meg.

    I later found out that my broadband would only go up to 10 Meg if I requested it online on their website, sneaky buggers!

    Still, always been reliable, and the ping has always been good :D

    Nildram. Not the cheapest, or fastest, but seem uber reliable.. low contention ratios, and no dip in performance at peak times. That's as fast as I can go on DSL apparently.

    This is strange becasuse we're paying for 1meg. and apparently our exchange can only support up to 6.5meg.£20/month including line rental and phone calls, but not many(it's an office phone).
