Shops like Game are dying because they have one shelf-width section of PC games at pretty crap prices, even their own website undercuts them Also Steam can't be helping Thinking I might just have to buy this, especially after the mediocrity of my free weekend with MW2... Think I'll go read me the "Sell me BC2" thread just to make sure Edit: Dammit you can't link retail to Steam...now I don't know what to do
I paid around £35 for the limited edition at release, doh! Play.com have the game for £17.99 with free delivery.
Free delivery on Amazon too, if you remember to pick the right option at checkout. Super Saver used to be the default, I missed the switch last time I bought something from them It matters because I like having all my games in the one place, with no need for the disc. I also like having my playtime hours etc logged and I don't really want to start using Xfire for one game. Plus Steam is awesome! Auto patching, dlc and so forth. You really should try it. Despite all this I caved and bought it from Amazon
All good reasons, but you would have to be 'special' to pay twice the price. I've used Zavvi a few times (free delivery) once and again they have a bargain.
Meh, I just added the autoupdater.exe as a shortcut in steam. Ok, not quite as convinient as having it tied to Steam, but good enough.
I've got Crysis Max Edition st ill in the cellophane, as it has been for two weeks ...not sure I justify this one just yet!
Thats cheap, i was thinking about getting this game but not too sure, been playing MW2 and i like it but lack of dedi servers is a pain. so does anyone here recommend BC2?
