I think this nose is starting to make it look like an elephant..

I understand you are going for a close likeness but I think it looks soooo nice without any kind of nose.

I like it how it is right now bud & it already looks like a stealth bomber so the look is achieved in my book... I think any more angles and bits added from this point will just make it look tacky and cheap & it already looks awsome :thumb:

Yeah, I see what you mean. I am still not 100 % sure about the nose, so many pro's and con's. So i'll take a break ....

naaaaaaahhhhhh couldnt do that to you !! So here is the first part of the detailling.
You know my previous mods, so this will not surprise you ..... or will it?

    How to make Laser-guided Missiles.
Take the cheapest ballpoint pen you can find from the dollar shop.

OMG, who BUYS these things? ( uhh me? )

Add some polystyreen ( Vikureen )

and fantasize some wings and a tail on to the pen.

    First layer of matte-white paint.

Total 3 layers for max coverage.

From my kit-bashing stock, I could really use these decals.

Fantasy lettering on the areas that will be visible.

Made a hole for the laser-wires.

I painted the topcap in fire engine-red, added some block-decalls and fitted it all together.

Last test if it still burns on 2 x AA batteries. ( can also be 5 V from PSU )

I am even considering putting them on top of the wings.

These more visible, and I have the room underneath the wings occupied with other weapons. :D

i'd make the large rockets under the wings ( like that pic) and get some smaller ones ontop, but that's my opinion

I know they put them on top of wings in real life, but I think that looks awful. maybe you can put in some opening doors like the full size stealth aircraft. And did you make that model, that's amazing work and the photography is awesome :)

a stealth jet wont have rockets under or on top of the wings, they actually hold bombs in the body , it goes open, bombs ( air to ground) fall out, and then it closes again, being always stealthy

    Thank you all, much appriciated.

Did some more homework about weaponsystems, not neccesary F117.
( yes I know, those disapear inside the plane bla bla )
Here is a fine example of weapons on top, and underneath, thick and thin ones.

Oh and BTW, these rockets have fins both on front and rear :)

These rocketlaunchers are from a chopper. These I want to use.

These are dampers for pressurized air, saved from the garbage.

Glued 7 together in a nice symetrical way.

And this is how i want them underneath the wings.

Found two sidewinders, and mod them in the same colors.
