@lenne - :hehe: DUDE! You quoted me from page 1?
It really would have come in handy to have fold-able hoses. I imagine ALL the modeling software I can't afford has something similar by now.

...so are we bumping that deadline back, or what?:worried:

Has the deadline moved yet, I've been so busy moving house that this had to take a back seat, now loads of free time whilst I job hunt.

I will take the last 4 Images posted of whatever your final design is. So until that point you can change it or start over as much as you see fit. :thumb:

Looks a bit like Thermaltake's SpinQ cooler.

The round hole in the middle looks a bit off with all those sharp corners. A polished cover over the side might fix that. Also you could make the sides of the fins a bit jagged to give the cooler a bit more "texture". :thumb:

Stick a pair of 120mm/140mm fans on the bottom and a pair on the top for uber cooling! (forgive my crappy model )

Added GPU, although its not based on anything just yet.

The basic idea behind this machine/design is silence in a compact area as possible with out taking too much away from its potential.

It's an idea to replace my CAD workstation, based on a Gigabyte H55 ITX board, i7 860 and a Quadro FX 580 passively cooled as Solidworks doesn't require huge graphics horsepower. Storage would be 2.5in SSD, and optical would be external or hooked up when needed. The only two moving parts would be the slow 140mm at the top and the 120mm fan in the PSU.
