Great so far, just one thing - consider wrapping the wires with white electrical tape before sleeving. It will look even better :thumb:
i love the idea, the modified fans & round sata cables :D :jawdrop:

(might get a slap for that :D) But no it's not I'm afraid. it's just some older stuff I had from previous builds...

Well if that is true, is it worth waiting? I'm going to use HD5670 for Cubo, which is even shorter than a miniITX mobo. and you can get HD5550 and HD5570 as low profile cards... If space is an issue for you.

You know this journey won't end there. Sooner or later you'll realize pico-itx is not a legend...

    Nice mod.

    Thanks a lot guys! :thumb:

Sure, I'm aware of pico-itx, it's just not powerful enough for me just now. But who knows, maybe I will build one based on this form factor one day :D

I'm working on smaller shell at the moment, and it's almost finished. It just needs a final layer of clear lacquer, maybe some sanding ant that's it.

one photo of how it looks just now:

I just noticed :) these are not vent slits actually... they are power and reset buttons... I know it's kinda harder to tell, but I wanted to something else than typical vandal switch buttons or something like that...

It looks very nice, good job! What kind of paint did you use and what method (airbrush, spray..)?

    Thank you!

I sprayed it with hycote double acrilic alpine white. Few thin layers with half an hour brakes between each...:thumb:
