    RAGE..

But yeah, I feel your pain. Good thing I've got 3 games I have't even started and would rather put the 10 quid towards batman arkham city.

Soooo... Would you say you hate Valve more than Cyberlink at the moment...? :p

But joking aside, I can clearly see where you're coming from.

Yes, I really like Mafia II and am keen on the DLC car packs.

But I hate Jimmy's Vendetta - and am very diasppointed that Joe's Adventures was a mish-mash of the two gaming styles.

the deal on D2D a week back was much better. You got Empire and all its DLC plus Napoleon for 7 quid. this doesn't even include all the DLC. I'd say pass until a better deal comes round if you want to save.

Edit: Shogun 2 and a bunch of other games are also on sale at D2D plus there is a 20% discount which you can apply at checkout.

That's an excellent price but Game have offered seeming bargains in the past which I found to be out of stock a week after ordering. GOG sell it for US$9.99 which is on the high side (description and user reviews here) though it may turn up in a promo sometime.

Can anyone tell me what D2D's like to use vs. Steam, and what the main differences are?

the difference is that D2D is just the website whereas steam has it's own client. Once you buy the game, all that you have to do is download the file which will come in a .zip file, extract it and install.

You still have to patch the game yourself though and some of their older games cannot be modded (i think), however all the new ones are fine.

I would only recommend D2D for getting steamworks titles. all you have to do after the purchase is punch in the CD key in steam and it will download.

Napoleon: Total War Imperial Edition http://store.steampowered.com/app/901162/

    75% off - £5

I bought the Total War Mega Pack for £10 about a year ago which included Empire, Rome and Medieval 2. I never got around to playing them though.
