I've just been playing about with the over clocking. It'll do 4.3ghz (who says the 1100t won't overclock) but I've wound it down a little bit. The one thing I built it for was to run cool and I think I've managed that. Have a look at the screen shot with it running prime 95 @ 4.1Ghz....Says it all I think. Mission accomplished. Roll on Bulldozer.....

I should have mentioned that it idles at 17 on the core 26 over all, with the fans on their lowest settings and the GPU's are at 25 degrees and maxed out on furmark are at 39 degrees. My old 9800GX2 on air was heading towards 90 degrees as a comparison. It used to idle at about 72...lol

    Amazing job Jeff!

I have always been a sucker for the flat HTPC Mozart, but never liked this case.

Thanks to you I am a changed man! :thumb: Indeed a beautifull case! :)

Thanks a lot angel, it's most appreciated mate. I'm glad I've changed your opinion of this case. judging by the comments through the log I think a few people have changed their opinion.

Like I said at the start I was already for a scratch build when this turned up. It always butt ugly but had the potential to be a bit better. It was just the one case I always wanted to get stuck into. Now I've done it I can move on to other things.

The plans for the scratch build can now be pulled out again....:dremel::clap::clap:

Ok, I'll maybe do an AMD build next time - however, the i7 2600K sports some very nice overclocks. Really a nice CPU with amazing bang for the buck!

I just got bored of intel stuff breaking on me and flakey X58 chipsets. I'never run in to any sort of problems with AMD stuff, so I switched back over.

Glasses or a bigger monitor would be a good start...lol

I haven't run it on the overclcocked settings yet. I was rushing when I loaded the OS and put 32 bit on it:duh::duh: so I'm not getting a true score. Plus I need to put some more ram in it. The bit that piss*d me of with the install is that I got everything on and running sweet and then spotted what I had done...What an arse...lol.

I'll reinstall maybe tomorrow and post the scores.

It really lives! Nothing has died, exploded, etc?

Looks great. I'll bet it is quite satisfying to finally have it up and running.
