I've got two copies of Renegade Ops for a fiver available, if anyone is interested. Kind of a pseudo-bargain, as I got it through the 4-pack :)

£24.85 atm... :( If (like me) you wait post-review for game purchases it's probably quicker to order a boxed copy from Amazon and wait for next-day delivery than trying to download the whole thing from Steam.

Looks like it was a one day thing. Google's cache still has it!

I see they've increased the RRP, are they allowed to do that?

Read BT's review right here. Or, for a slightly more adventure-oriented view, JustAdventure's review.

I bought the game some time back. In the Christmas 2009 sale, if memory serves correctly. Haven't gotten around to play it yet, though. I mostly bought the game because I liked Enki Bilal's movie Immortel Ad Vitam, which is set in the same universe (and perhaps even shares some of the story).

I hope Ziip aren't advertising their own site on this topic now for semi-bargains. It may be the cheapest about, but I still wouldn't class it as a bargain.. Especially advertising the same thing twice.

Whilst I appreciate the messages posted here by fans of ZiiP to detail our current offers, I obviously do not wish to antagonise these boards, nor post anything against the rules.

However, as a very small independent retailer - when we can get a price for a new release AAA game that not only beats other major retailers, but also offers additional content, it is in my eyes as a "bargain" and I personally am happy to see it mentioned.

Thank you anyone from Bit-tech for your support. I won't post in this thread again, as owner of ZiiP it probably isn't appropriate.

    Peace.

It would be for my wife, but her reference (adventuretreff.de) also says it's ... not that good

I think you should, There is a lot of Bit-Tech people on Ziip and its no harm getting both communities together.

I'm sure there will be people that appreciate the offers.

Once the thread isnt spammed I really cant see the problem..

This. I can't see the offending item, however there is nothing wrong about posting the really good bargains. You still might want to send a message to the staff to make sure they are okay with it. We wouldn't stop posting bargains from Amazon or Steam just because we know someone of the community is working for them, would we?

Without being staff (thus having no real say on the matter), I would reckon that posting genuine bargains which beat other retailers, and not getting too spammy on the matter, wouldn't be a problem.

As far as I know Bit-Tech doesn't have any game retailers as sponsors, which is where a conflict may lie, and obviously that would have to be avoided.
