Really nice ssd mount bro! You can always go for a mirror or a better finish just grab a set of sandpapers and a buffing wheel !

    Thanks :)

Thank you kier, I think this will be the last one to make. :)

Thanks buddy. You would not believe the sanding it took to get to here. :)duh: second thought yeah you would :hehe:)
I originally was going to paint the tray, so did not take care in handling :wallbash: in the right light angle those very small scratches don't show up.

So here is the last cable - may have to do a Sata cable - the SATA power cable, now to make it fit in the case, it needed to do a roundabout tour, in the end it ended up being 124cm long :D:D:D

Well I will just show you.

Now to look after some small items and Sata cables. See you all soon. :)

    Thanks Wayne. :)

Thanks bro, more coming now. :hehe:

Why thanks, happy to have you here.

Today is about getting power to a 2nd drive, if I ever need one, without modding the new cable.
Start with Sata power connectors chopp them up to get the crimps out. Ruined one so needed another to get the 10 crimps needed. Here is the stages.

then solder the crimps and put back together

    apply epoxy

    some sleeve and shrink

The drive frame has bothered me. With one drive I don't need the ugly plugged holes and with two drives you don't see the frame at all. :duh:

Have you solved the solution yet. :) Stack the drives. and the new cable stays right in front of the old new cable. I'll show you, but first did a little modding on the frame, I like it now.

    See you soon.

You have more patience with connectors than I do Craig.:D The result is terrific and very clean. :thumb:
The black with polished alu looks particularly good.

    Thank you. :)

I think the look came from growing up when North American autos were big black or red and as much chrome as they could use, kinda stuck with me.

Thank you SunkiiSh, another one coming right now.

Why thank you, but that sounds like work and this is play-time. :hehe:

Thanks Kid, I love cookies :D aahhh I guess the next one could be done in less than 18 months. :hehe:

    Thanks man. :)

So I re-polished the tray. :DAlex

Then I made the last metal part, Rear I/O cover. It is a friction fit, that is the wavy edge you see. Shot on my computer desk. :D

    Installed.

Some fine reflections, the right side ones are in the paint of front panel behind the octagon tower.
