Logitech MX Revolution So comfy, fully customizable buttons (and side "wheel"/title-switch thing). Great in gaming. Very long battery life, excellent weight and weight dispersion, no input lag in gaming visible.
I've had one of these before, very nice mice DPI is around 800 though so it wasn't anywhere near as high as I needed it to be.
I currently have a Razer Naga, unfortunately I couldn't recommend it to anyone with moderately to large sized hands, and although I've used it for a year or so now (had to persist, it was a present ), it took a long time to get to grips with. Even now I find that I don't use the Num pad on the side and the general comfort is still poor. I previously had a Razer Deathadder and I can definitely recommend that, was a great mouse and I wish Id never had to change it!
I have already wrote to Scan.... would it be better to go straight to logitech? Thanks for all the suggestions everyone and interesting to see your favorites. I have given in to my own whim and just dropped £50 on a Corsair M60 to match my K60. Good news is I will soon have a shiny new G500 on sale at the Marketplace
Yes if it was after 6 months, but in this case it's probably better to go straight to Logitech anyway as they have excellent customer service
I'll be honest, I don't need lots of buttons for gaming, so I got a dirt cheap mouse with just thumb buttons, and it makes life so easy! As it happens, the build quality is surprisingly good and no visible sign of input lag: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/blaze-laser-mouse-black-blue-1000dpi-4-button Actually, it's a very comfortable mouse, the room for the thumb is something I couldn't live without!
Sidewinder X8 - wired/wireless, no lag, programmable buttons (by game profile as well afaik), 3 on the fly dpi buttons for twitch/sniper/general gaming, tracks on just about anything - picked mine up for £35 a while back on an amazon promotion. As it's microsoft should be on a par with logitech quality wise and imho is - had an MX revolution before - this is better performing but marginally worse ergonomically.
Absolutely love my G5... starting to get a bit worn now, would love a V2 but buggered if you can find them anywhere now. Probably go with the Mionix next, looks good.
lol, G500 its a fantastic mouse, very comfy high spec nice price.. i used to have a copperhead before that was a good mouse
The Logitech VX Nano wireless laser notebook mouse was my favorite. It tracked extremely well on just about every surface I found, and was extraordinarily comfortable. Shame I dropped it too many times and the scroll wheel got all jammed up.
G500 being replaced and a M60 on the way... There is only one thing for it That's how it looks in my head
You don't have the motorized wheel switch system... it's now manual switch you have to do. So you lose the ability to auto-switch between click and free spin as you flick the wheel more than normal or slowly based on the scroll wheel speed. Plus, it doesn't have the Lithium-ion battery as before. Now it's a stupid AA battery that you need to put.. so you have very short battery life.
When you get it could you measure it for me? As I briefly used one at LITs last year, but I can't remember how big it was (plus my GF spilt Ribena on my trusty Sidewinder and its buttons are sticking!!!! ) It'd also match my Vengence K60 keyboard
