Sweet I will bear that in mind bro. I can see all the different ways to setup a WC rig. My HAF 932 which Pete used in his first WC Build as per this thread has loads of room for rads and tubing etc

The rear of the case has pre cut holes and gromits for tubing, so could run my tubing out through there into a rad fitted to the roof xD All these options are there.

Can't wait to see your finished build.

Quick question on mixing tubing sizes. I'm working on 2 WCed PCs at the moment (both the PC's in my sig) and i was wondering if i can use 1/2" tubing for the areas visible from the case window (floor bulkhead fitting 1 to cpu block, gfx card block, then back to another floor bulkhead) and 3/8" tubing for the hidden parts (uad radiator to floor bulkhead 1. floor bulkhead 2 to pump/reservoir. pump to radiator). would this cause me any problems

When buying a 2nd hand radiator whats the best procedure to flushing and cleaning one out?

I googled the subject and saw a few different ways, using either white vinegar, distilled water, or just boiling tap water.

I'd say boiling water a few times, then a good few flushes with distilled water. You could try adding a little alcohol to the mix?

Probably a bit OTT unless there's been tap water in the loop.

Wow that stuff from specialtech looks almost deadly just reading whats in it :p

I guess alot of what you need to use depends on what coolant has been used, as im sure if it was mainly distilled water and a kill coil the ammount of excess gunk shouldnt be too hight, though i don't doubt there will be some in there.

Will do some more research into flushing the rad before i get them.

I connect my rads to the mains water and flush it for an hour or so. I still use a rinse with recently boiled water as well and I have used Isopropyl Alcohol in the past. I've not had any flux from recently purchased rads, mainly tiny paint flecks and the majority of those were from Black Ice rads.

Has anyone asked about this thread being stickied? It's an awesome guide and deserves stickying.

I can't wait to see what it looks like :)

I asked the mods several times, but nothing happened. I suppose if others ask the mods then it may help :)

Good idea noiz :thumb: I shall give it a mention to one of the mods, which as pete said, would hopefully help :)

and yeah Pete I can't wait to see what it looks like also, although I'm not even sure if I will be able to get the loop up and running before I go off to the states at the weekend, so may have to wait until I get back :wallbash:

and noiz, I thought I was struggling with 2 normal 580's, how's it going with 0Gb of RAM? :jawdrop:

Slowly, incredibly slowly lol No RAM AND no board :( Board's currently in the Netherlands being swapped/repaired so I sold the RAM as I plan on getting some new stuff once my board's back. It's been a very long couple of months :hehe:

Also which mod did you PM? I'll PM them too to add a bit more weight to the stickying process :thumb:
