Being told by the Toyota dealership that 4.5 months down, there's still not even a production date for my white 86. They're trying swaps with other dealerships in southern Africa, but there's only 3 being built in white for Southern Africa in the next month, so fat chance...

Then the inevitable question: Is pearl white the only colour you'd like, or can we look around for other colours as well? FUUUUUUUU

 

It's going to be at least two weeks before I can get a working screen for my PC again, my own fault, but it doesn't make it any easier to think that I'm effectively going to have very little to do in my spare time once I've finished my reserve of books.

Bugger.

 

I come back from three weeks in the States, and it's still bloody winter here.

Yes, that is ruining my life at the moment, because winter sucks and it should have left a month ago.

Seek help man. It's not healthy to destroy expensive hardware even in a one off anger event, never mind repeatedly.

Get a punchbag or something and place it near your desk if you can't control your fist of fury. Think of it as a saving, £50 spent now rather than £150 on the next unfortunate TFT.

You need to sort that out, either stop playing the games or find another outlet for you anger.

Gee thanks, guys. I'm well aware that my temper has gone beyond childish to just flat out stupid. I'm already taking steps to sort that. The main issue I've got right now is simply that I'm flat broke, As usual, JSA decision makers also decided that being five minutes late equates to loosing two weeks worth of money.

Sadly I can't really complain about it, since I've heard of people getting completely cut off for something as simple as having a small mark on the damn booklet.

To be entirely honest; My temper has gotten genuinely scary now. I don't remember the point I lost it, nor actually hitting the screen, just the aftermath, stood there with yet another dead panel. It honestly scares the crap out of me to think that I could actually do something because of my temper and not remember it afterwards.

 

What he said. I take games seriously, it's my competitive nature... But breaking expensive hardware over it? Nah mate, I'm what some people call an adult.

 

How exactly does it effect you significantly enough to warrant that reply/response?

That's the bit I'd be worried about. Ultimately, hardware in general is replaceable. Relationships, bodies and teeth less so.

Anger management is a well trodden path, I recommend you investigate post-haste.
