Displays NEC 26" IPS Monitor for £100 too good to be true? Evidently not!

You don't need an ebay account. Phone them, they'll take a debit or credit card.

They're catching on... quick :D To be honest, even £200 for one of these monitors would be a very good buy, so £150 is nothing to complain about - I'd have gone for that too.

I'm tellin ya, if I'd had £450 available at the time, I'd have bought that job lot in a heartbeat. Imagine FSX on that... lol.

Here are some better photos of my monitor, including portrait mode (for the heck of it).

And the label which covers the model number (LCD2690WUXi or WUXi2):

Those of you who await arrival of your monitors - I'd be interested to know how you feel about the resolution on that size of screen and how it compares to what you've used before. 1920x1200 at 26 inches (and above) is not a new thing, but nowadays people seem intuitively averse to anything less than 2560x1440 on a display bigger than 24 inches.

Believe it or not, at 88.5 px/in the pixel density on these monitors is almost identical to the 90 px/in pixel density of a 22 inch 1680x1050 monitor (remember those?!).

It's the same seller yea - they just haven't updated that page (I assume it has to be done manually).

How are you working out those pixel densities? Shouldn't they be in pixel/in^2?
