Had a spare Xeon E3, some RAM, a PSU, hard drive, SSD... So over the last 2 weeks, i bought a Node 304, Gigabyte B75N, GTX660, HR-02 Macho and a Noctua 14cm fan. Result :

Close call on CPU cooler vs fan vs mounting bracket, but it fits :). Yes i know, use of non-modular PSU is tragic, but i had this one at home and it is a very silent 80Plus Gold PSU, and i wouldn't use the front fans anyway :D.

That's uncanny, sounds very very nearly like my Dads T350, only not quite as loud, the raspy'ness is there.
    Can't remember, is it a V6 or Straight 6 in the 370?

What are those smaller cans for?

Its a 3.7 litre V6. I know what you mean though, it does sound very similar to a T350 now you mention it.

The previous exhaust that I had was much louder. This one is more pleasing to me though. The smaller cans are Helmholtz resonators. They eliminate drone by amplifying the offending frequency 180 degrees out of phase with itself, so it is cancelled out.

Batteries load into the end, rather than the rear, so the grip is/can be more rounded and nicer to hold ( apparently- putting my faith into the 'net here... ).

I've been thinking to get one those for my Nikon D3100, the original eye cover which comes with it is plain hideous.

I'll let you know how it feels, but by all accounts they are brilliant and quite soft, not hard rubbery-plastic like some cheap covers. They do a larger one for people with glasses, though it covers the top half of the LCD which is an issue.

Samsung S3 mini. From having the HTC Wildfire S thing thing is pretty cool. Shame about the cheapo feel by having the gloss plastic back. I've ordered a case for it so hopefully that will make it feel a bit less fragile. Also ordered a 16gb micro sd card for it and a pack of screen covers.

My wife had to regress back to using a Wildfire for a week or so while her S3 was being looked at and she was just about tearing her hair out by the time I got the call to pick it up again. The S3 is sooooooooo much nicer to live with

Yup, and I only got the s3 MINI :p I got it for £170 or so, which is more or less the price I paid for the HTC Wildfire S a few years ago :D It's nice to be able to actually install more than 4 apps without the farking thing telling you that you are running low on memory. The wildfire s had something like 512 storage. All the google apps couldn't be moved to the SD card so in no time you had next to no internal storage left. The ram was a joke, you'd be writing a long ish email, and the phone would start to lag -_-

I'm staying with a friend of my parents at the moment and they have no wifi, so I had to go into town and stand outside a starbucks to use their free wifi and update/install my apps :D
