Other What's ruining your life right now?

Water has just gone off and I am halfway through a wet shave. Awesome. Damn that leak in the road!

(And no, I don't have a sink full of water. I have, however, finished shaving and washed my face with soda water. Haha!)

You see, there's the problem, you get them sweaty and they're not much use as virgins anymore.

 

My mistake it should have been virgin tears.

 

A wet shave at nearly one in the morning?

Only drag queens and solicitors who stay up way too late shave at that time of the night........

 

I much prefer shaving before bed than in the morning, especially if I have a clean pillowcase as well.

 

I always envisioned you with an epic beard, for some reason......

 

Nah, maybe if I were single but, with my wife, it's either clean shaven or no lovin's.

Plus I can further cultivate the image that my co-workers seem to have started that I shave with a bowie knife or some other sharp and pointy that I might have on me at the time.

 

Haha I'll leave you to decide which of those two categories that I fell into last night

 

A soliciting drag queen?

 

Managed to throw my back out big time with a coughing fit this morning. Ended up on my knees due to the pain.

Lots of pain pills and I'm kinda functioning again, plenty of ice packs on my back later I think. That should sort things out a bit.

Anxiety much :/

 

My best friend committed suicide recently by laying down on train tracks right next to my house. I was out of state leading a team of veterans doing some data center server maintenance, needless to say as soon as I heard I was severely crushed as my friend was about to enlist into National Guard the week after and come to my unit. I was his role model end he was like a little brother to me always wanting to do and learn what I know. I love you Robert, you would have made soldier of the year I know it, I pray that you are no longer hurting inside.

I can't drive over those tracks ever, as it reminds me of what happened there.

 

Little niece, went to an opticians appointment and they noticed a shadow behind her eye.

She was told to go to A&E immediately, they took a look., shortly after they were contacted to go imto hospital. She's been poked and prodded all evening and arranged a brain scan.

I feel physically sick, I would do absolutely anything right now to take whatever it is upon myself. I'm frustrated and upset, I don't know what to do with myself. I should sleep but there is not way I will be able to.

To make things worse my sisters don't seem to care, it's just an inconvenience to them... Honestly feel like flipping my ****

 

Just because they don't seem to care doesn't mean they don't. Everyone deals with news like that differently. Some people flip out, others withdraw completely. Some people just don't seem to be phased. Everyone is different and until it happens to you it's hard to know exactly how you will react. Try not to judge them just yet and definitely don't do or say anything you'll regret later.

Just try and hang in there and most importantly be there for your niece if she or her family needs yous. It may be nothing to worry about.
