    512GB or nothin'!

Massive difference in price compared to the 256GB version, but I decided to treat myself.

My OS drive will be changing from a 4 year old Corsair Force 3 120GB to the M2 drive

And yes, those read speeds! Hnnnng.

EDIT: I had also considered getting an 850 Pro as well, but will probably get one early in the new year.

Some graduated cylinders for mixing e-liquid:

A bunch more Raspberry Pi stuff: a second Zero, AmazonBasics USB Hub (because I don't own a USB hub, oddly), 16GB uSD, and an Adafruit PiTFT (2.8" resistive).

Scrapped the JVC TV (the picture quality looked like utter sh!te when I saw the TV in the shop).

So instead I got a 50" LG HDTV and couldn't be happier with it! (£349 in Black Friday sale @ Currys).

25" Dell UtraSharp U2515H Monitor, ummm'd and arrr'd but moved from 27' 1440p to 25' 1440p. Let's see how I get on with the tighter PPI.

I heard lots of folks saying that in fact they prefer the 25' 1440p format over the 27, sharper images etc. Thought I would try it out for myself and see!

bit of a long story behind this one...

when i was young my Dad built me a fairly large Train set, unfortunatly after he died my stepdad took the loco's and they got 'misplaced' AKA sold on EBAY. Not that they were his to sell. Unfortuantly the original set was as close as i can figure to limited edition as the Livery on this locomotive does not seem to come up on Ebay very often at all, and both previous times i have attempted to bid on these items i have been 'Sniped' at the last second

Always enjoyed the shape of these beasties. A purely utilitarian box of power on wheels, nothing done to make it pretty, just to get stuff done.

I was in the market for a new desk to replace my homemade one, saw this on the John Lewis site.

Hopefully I will be keeping it for a long time to come....
