By "hifi" I meant more in name than actual hi fidelity... The system that I was using was an old all in one crappy thing.

Do the T20s and T40s still have that annoying power saving feature where they go into standby if no sound is played for 10 minutes and take a few seconds to come back on? That would be a real dealbreaker for me.

Not this time, but I found one anyway... :D

    Clicky.

I can throw him an offer... but I doubt he will take anything near what it is actually worth. Let me know what you're prepared to pay, and I will keep an eye as I have been doing. :D

They pull the numbers out of their arse, I swear. My renewal with Hastings came through over £100 more expensive than the previous year - 2 mins with the Meerkats and the SAME PROVIDER comes up £60 cheaper than that first year... with the bonus of 2-for-1 on meals and cinema tickets!

Called Hastings up to tell them not to automatically renew the previous policy because I paid for a new one in full and they asked who it was with, when I said "YOU" the chap had the audacity to sound surprised... You're surprised I wasn't going to pay an extra £100 for an extra years no claims?!

    Can confirm.

My last renewal quote was £4000 (yes, that's the right number of zeroes)
I called them up advising them they can stick that right back up there and that circa £1500 was where they should be aiming
I held for 60 seconds, and they came back saying that would be just fine, £1500 it is.
