Bryant didn't push his amendment to a vote, so May WA can come back from the dead...

A50 extended, if the EU agree.

EU will probably suggest a long delay, May will hope that scares enough MPs to vote for her 'deal'.

    Doubtful. I hope.

Something like 10 votes to make a laughing stock out of our government only for the most likely scenario to be that we end up with delay + May WA.

EU will only grant it if there's a reason.

You know, outrageously demanding the UK talks sense.

While it is correct that the EU has to approve a request for an extension they have no interest in throwing us over the cliff if we approve a WA, so we can now expect increased pressure on MPs to accept the May WA so May can sell the extension to the EU as an "implementation period to pass necessary legislation".

If MV3 doesn't happen or doesn't pass however, then its hey ho off the cliff we go on the 29th march (unless we cancel the whole show).

To those saying the EU won't let the UK crash out, don't forget that Macron has already said if the UK can't make their minds up now, it's not going to be made up later either. Don't forget you need approval from all member states. Don't underestimate Macron's influence.

Hence my argument that there will be increased pressure on MPs to pass the May Withdrawal Agreement (As it is the only thing that could theoretically be passed before the EU members rule on granting an extension).

Yup, that's why the Gov brought the vote on extension. May wants to back MPs into a corner right up to the wire.

It's no way to run a Parliament.

Please Britain, who are you kidding, it's EU or WTO.

Stop lolly-gagging on Twitter and hit the streets in protest for a second referendum.

Are you really going to let your future be decided by these plonkers in parliament?!

Sure, "the ball is in EUs court", but you've got no one to blame except yourselves.

The WA is just going to delay the problems to a later date with or without an extension.

The EU may grant an extension out of morbid curiosity and for comedy value. Just to see what the UK will do next.
I hear that in mainland Europe, BBC Parliament is broadcast rebranded as the Comedy Channel.

In the UK footage of parliament can't be used for the purposes of comedy... so BBC Parliament is ****ed...

My understanding of the papers is that it is largely a joke to the Germans at the very least.
