So basically the government is saying:
Dear MPs please rule out no deal in the free vote in order to force yourself into a binary choice between the twice rejected May WA and revoke but if you fail to choose either one it circles round to no deal.

Sounds perfectly reasonable with ~16 days to go:wallbash:

Ultimately meaningless as no deal is 'on the table' until and unless they either pass a deal or give up and revoke the A50 letter [and possibly the withdrawal act]...

    ...still... bahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

And the Malthouse amendment just jumped head first from the brexit cliff to test the concrete below (defeated by 210)...

So now on to votes about the amended main motion

Welp, another day of voting about nothing, that changes nothing.

15 days until no deal Brexit, at least the slim majority didn't vote for it, so they did a little better than I expected.

I find it amusing that they voted for not having a no-deal scenario barely a day after rejecting the only deal they will get.

Do MP's get together after parliament and bash each other in the head with lead pipes? Is a requirement for being an MP to have no foresight beyond dinner and ducks? Are we the public so retarded we keep voting in these people with obvious learning difficulties despite how many times they screw the pooch and fail to articulate why they keep putting their rancid old todger in the janitors dog?

People in burning building narrowly vote to not burn to death, take no further action.

Is the ERG finally done for?
A rather severe contradiction about ERG strategy emerged today:

The ERG is rumoured to agree to vote for MV3 if May offers to resign. The suspicion is that they will then try to get a puppet PM in post (Boris Johnson) and try and scupper the ensuing FTA negotiations with the EU, to still get their Singapore-on-the-Thames.

Certainty for business? Not for the next decade. Brexit is going to be the political monster that ate Britain.

    Perhaps.

But don't underestimate the British, we have a habit of not giving up in dire situations. In fact we love it so much we create our own.:)
