I mean, if the electorate are too unhealthy to riot, then all's well right?

Or dead from the numerous obesity related illnesses. Can't riot from the grave.

I'd also not put it past him to claim everyone who's dead would have voted for him.

While I agree that voting reform is certainly worth looking into...

The problem is that those small parties asking for it will most likely need said voting reform to happen first in order to gain the power necessary to make that voting reform happen, an impossible catch 22.

Well that's unreasonable. How are you expected to get any job satisfaction anymore?

To be honest, your cat does look dodgy as ****. :p

Widdecombe in the EU Parliament saying Britain leaving is like slaves rising up against their masters.

There is such a level of ignorance and stupidity in that comment i don't know where to start.

    The Law of Widdecome...

If you wish to determine the correct stance to take on any given topic, see what Widdecome does, then do the opposite.

Even more ironic seeing as she's standing next to the guy who could've done something about those increases in the mesh size of fisherman's nets.

Also while complaining about the supposed lack of democracy she is confusing the nomination announcement with the actual election.

Part of me now thinks it's only humane that we leave as soon as possible, I fear for those MEPs having to put up with Farage and Widdecombe for several years.

It must be against some sort of convention, surely.

...they only tend to show up when they can showboat for the cameras, when there's actualy **** to be done they're noticable by their absence.

Don't take it personally; our cat wants to kill us as well. Only feeding her has spared us so far, but when she works out tin openers, we're screwed. :p

That's why she keeps growing older. Neither God nor the devil want her.

Our cat tries to make out she's affectionately rubbing against my legs.
Trouble is she mainly does that at the top of the stairs...
