Ja. I was reeeeeeally tempted to go for a 10600k but it would be £200 more and I can't currently justify it :p

Ordered ages ago and mainly forgot about it, finally arrived. And it's excellent.
Highly recommended - great thing to do with kids, but also something I feel like I'm going to be tinkering with for hours tonight once she's in bed.

Wife wants a web cam because her XPS aims right up her nostrils, but they expensive, so she'll be using iVcam instead. Something to hold her phone.

Whenever building a bike it's obligatory to forget something.

True to form I forgot something, FFS.

    Yeah that's an important one.

For me it's always forgetting the lower headset bearing...

I usually cobble headsets and bottom brackets together from parts. But I was so done with that, so I just bought both. Makes a nice change.

From what it looks like you're doing it similar to what I do professionally, so I just wanted to offer help :)

    Is SCART a UK thing?

Also, USB to SSD cable. Needs to do a transfer.

It was actually French, originally: Syndicat des Constructeurs d'Appareils Radiorécepteurs et Téléviseurs. It was also known as Peritel or EuroSCART. But yeah, it was mainly a European thing; if you ever saw one in the US it was probably on a fairly high-end piece of kit. Credit where it's due, it's a fantastic connector for analogue video systems. It has separate RGB video pins so you can get much better quality from it than you can with connectors where the video signals are mixed (like S-Video/S-VHS or composite).

This is where us Europeans get to be smug: thanks to the proliferation of SCART, many classic home computers and consoles had support for RGB video out of the box. Unless of course it's a Nintendo console, because they just had to be different...:grr:

It's an old Video connector standard, pre HDMI. I thought it was worldwide but maybe not.

    Ta, it's really rare here!

I see the benefit, just wish it had made it stateside. All we got was systemic racism.

We evolved beyond simple racism and formed a class system, which allows you to discriminate against people who look like you.

I'm just getting started and @DXR_13KE has been helping me out. We've been mates for years and he's been awesome and patient with all my questions and nagging.

As my projects progress I'll be communicating more here and would greatly appreciate your and everyone's input, without a doubt!
