Very nice start. I love the way the frame goes together. That rear panel looks great.

hello, here is a small update of what I ame going to make, it are simpel drawings of the sidewall and the top of the hdd/dvd bracket, the 4 M5 holes in the middel of the top plate are for mounting it to my case, the 4 small lines in the side are suposed to be m3 holes so I can mount the sidewalls to the top :dremel:. In the sidewall you can see 8 small groves they are for mounting the hdd/ dvd to the bracket :hip:, on top of the sidewall you can see 2 small holes those are for mounting it to the top plate. All the plates are from perspex:
    side plates 5mm
    top plate 8mm
4x M3x10 countersunk black steel screws
4x M5x10 countersunk black steel screws
2x hdd coolers so it fits in the same side bracket as the dvd and it ceeps them cool :brrr:.

see ya soon with pictures of the bracket, julian

It all starts as a sketch. Good to see you working on it. The finished product should look great.

thanks for the replys/compliments I am doing my best for it :D:lol:. Firts of all I am still waiting for the alu frame to come back in black from the anodiser so I dont have any thing of that, what I do have are some pictures of the hdd/ dvd bracket I made on my work.
I milled the hdd/dvd bracket today it is a easy and simple disigne but he it looks cool. Here are some foto's of the perspex plates and the finale product, I milled it on the same kunzman as used before.
So I used 5mm perspex for the side pannels and 8mm for the top pannel, I use 4 M3x +-12mm black steel countersunk hexagon screws and 4 M5 screws to mount it to the case.

    the 3 plates I used:

tapping the M3 in the top plate:

the side pannels 1 milled and 1 not milled:

all the pannels next to each other:

some different views of the hdd/dvd:

and here it is with 1 old dvd player mounted in it:

I hope you like it as mutch as I do,
see you next time hope fully with the the black frame back from the anodiser, julian

    hello, a quick update:
The alu frame is back in black :D. I only mounted the frame togheter because otherwise I risk to damage the perspex plates.

It does look pro. Just one question. Why not gloss black? For this mod I think it would go much better.
