Now some DX11 benchmarks with Heaven Benchmark v2.1.

First here is a result with everything @ stock speeds.

Here is the result with only CPU overclocked @ 4Ghz

Then it was time to overclock the GPUs. Those MSI GTX 470's
are awesome overclockers! The overclocking results you are going to see here have been done in 10 minutes with MSI Afterburner V.1.6.1 as it was the only one who could unlock the voltage. Those cards could overclock way much higher but I found proper to stay there at the moment and see how they perform.
LIGHTING fast is all I can say!!
And the 2X EK's 240 radiators did a hell of a job keeping temperatures below 60 Degrees Celsius @ full load which if you consider how hot these cards can get even without overclock then this is more than fantastic!

And a final benchmark with all overclocked! You can see the stock VS overclocked thats a HUGE difference!!!

I am really impressed with the performance of MSI cards and how easy they can OC with no hassle at all and also in combination with EK blocks and rads, everything is just awesome!

Hope you enjoyed this little bench saga guys!! ;)

Thanks to ALL the sponsors again who help us make this little journeys a reality! Peace!

Thanks bro if you mean Vantage well I tried but at the trial version you can only bench at a low resolution and you cant change any settings, I got something like 33500 at Performance mode.

Haha on the everest screen it really shows it's about that time I should upgrade, but then again that is tripple channel ddr3 with pretty nice timings, yours scores about 3 times what my dual channel ddr2 does lol :D, awesome so an upgrade sometime soon would be justifiable.

The 2 WD 500gb hdd's looked like they perform pretty excellent too :).

I found to get away from that tiny min fps in heaven to let it run for about half a minute & then run the bench, just seems to get it ready for benching, but this rig blows mine away for sure :D my crossfired 5870's are quite bottlenecked by my current system but to be honest does just fine in actual games except the likes of metro 2033.

    SLi'd 470's are prety damn awesome :).

So you have a really nice looking & equally nice performing rig, congrats :rock::thumb:.

Thanks brother thanks for the tip I might run one more test tonight with full tessellation and with your tip in mind! ;)
Also is a shame that you have a bottleneck you shall upgrade cause the 5870's are monsters with an i7 or even an i5! I will wait for u to upgrade and post some benchies too!! Make sure you overclock the CPU too!!

WOW... I guess you've turned Krakoff into a fan of Modding. I wonder if he'll sign up here and start participating... that would be nice!!!

Angel, I'm pretty impressed with those CPU temps, and that's off of 2x 240's only with the cards in the loop?

Have you OC'd everything at once and then taken temps?

The cpu-nb-sb loop is on a 360 EK rad. The gpus are on 2X 240's. The temps were on Maximum OC!!

Thanks mate well it was around 26-27 Celsius! :)
