Tim, I was about to say you'd posted those already then I realized I caught them on Twitter. :D

Tim, some really stunning images - LOVE the composition. :thumb:

I salvaged a blue anodized aluminium heatsink from an old Geforce 2 MX graphics card and I just love it... such a simple but beautiful piece of engineering.

This picture is definitely the first of many :D

Is this a pano competition? Is it?

I've really been on a roll with these, but they will now stop, as I'm done with this batch of shots.

They should ideally be seen at or close to full res - the little Flickr versions (even 1024px wide) are weird.

    Great shots there. :thumb:

Don't know about the others, but I've been watching Gavin Hoey's youtube channel where he's shot a few panos and stitched them using photomerge.

Thanks Silver. That second one is mind-blowing. I hope you took some time away from the camera to just soak it up?

Yep. I live right on the coast, with the dunes between the apartment and the sea, so it's a great place to go for an evening walk. The first one was taken as I was walking back to the flat, but decided to go sit on top of one of the dunes and watch the sun go down instead.

Reminded me of one I took a year ago in Le Havre.

Was very lucky with the timing, this is uncropped.
