The last time I was watching this I was soldering my final year project... Exhausted .. disheartened... simply destroyed

Listening now with two framed certificates on my wall I feel totally worth the pain!

    Now to get a job

Managed to totally strip, clean, lubricate fans and re apply TIM on a HP laptop and it worked afterwards...

Did I mention I had 2/3 of a bottle of red wine in me!

Not surprising. You're a geek. A geek can field-strip, reassemble and reboot any mainstream laptop blindfold, in perfect darkness, in less than ten minutes. In near silence, ninja-like.

The wine just helps you loosen up the ol' motor memory.

Last time I was tripping over ram scattered all over the floor it was the morning after my first time at one of Uncle Dafyd's special parties at his place on a hill just outside Llanelli. All I can remember from the night before was a lot of wine and everyone throwing their keys into a feeding trough...

    ...good times.

That was when I lived in Cape Town, South Africa in the mid 90's in an area that was quickly being taken over by the various gangs who were fighting each other

    Everything is falling into place.

Like the blindfolded neighbour into the fresh grave I've spent the last week digging.

The only plus side to this weather is that I can see out of my window for miles over the hills because it's so damn clear and beautiful.

Had a phone interview with a bank 2 weeks ago for an entry level job, after a week I lost hope. Got a call today, and have an interview on Thursday. Quite looking forward to it, it's a recent graduate position, and most of the things that they require I'm familiar with, and I'm more than willing to learn the rest (plus during the phone interview they said they train you for 6 months anyways).

Would love to land this job, finally start being productive with my time / start my career. Being a bank, there's also a lot of room to grow down the road.

More hours at work, unfortunately due to someone being transferred out

However it means I've secured myself a comfortable 35 odd hours the previous 2 weeks.

I would like to think I can keep it up, now we're going to be manic through summer but I'm sure they'll go back to giving me my contracted 12.

Hopefully by then I'll be leaving for a new job anyway but at least I'll have a comfortable wage to work with and a more realistic weekly work ethic.

Had my interview last friday, hopefully sometime in the next couple of weeks the second interview.

I geniunely cannot wait to hand in my notice to my current place, the supervisor is giving me conflicting guidance, when I submit drawings to him to proof he gives me a bollocking threatening "formal proceedings".

Also he has hired a freelancer to do things, so I'm really not ****ed anymore about my current place, I'm not paid enough to deal with this sort of nonsense.

To be fair, this ridiculous weather is actually helping me to get up earlier, and thus it does feel nice to be doing all my walking in the morning or evening, like I'll be doing in a few minutes while there's a gorgeous breeze around.
