all the bases at SJAB have been canceled for thursday and friday, whish means I get to miss my 3 hour religion class The also moved all the jets out of the base yesterday. It was cool to watch!
Has anyone found any decent satalite photos of it yet? I saw a bloody amazing one of the front page of someone's newspaper on the train this morning. Haven't found any other than the 'radar' images so far.
well my area (Cockeysville/Hunt Valley/Timonium/Towson, Baltimore County, MD) is going to get it hard no matter what. If it takes the route up the Chesepeake Bay, I'll get Hurricane force winds, if it takes NC, I'll get Tropical Storm winds. Either way, I'm screwed. They've already started cancelling schools for Thursday and Friday. If they cancel my school, I'd have only went 2 hours this week, I've been major sick and left early on Monday. There's a bunch of tall trees behind my house and I bet they're not going to stand the wind. The news people are warning of power outages lasting over 7 days..so..I might not have school for quite a while.

Those are damn sweet, Dad. Cheers Dad! I think surviving a huricane would be pretty cool. Must be quite a rush to have it howling around your house as you're taking cover in the basement. Just so long as it doesn't do more than rip a few tiles off the house though .

School just has been annouced closed for tommorrow for montgomery county maryland, now I am actually concerned of this hurricane. :/ Must get food and horde stuff to last the storm even though it might be for a day or two. Hopefully everyone (who's in the way of this storm) will be safe.

lol, well people told me and I can actually confirm it on the school system's website that school is closed, so check your school system website to find out (4 day weekend horray )
just wait till tommorrow, they would have to close school.. if it is severe.. i'm surprised montgomery county actually closed this early (considering that they always hesitate to the last minute with snow closings and what not). i bet when you wake up you will find that you have no school tommorrow, if you have school, then just hope that you get friday off ^^
i mean the high school litterally RIGHT up the road from me closed already too...but my college that is like 3 miles as the crow flies...is still undecided...MY car has new tires thank god...so i should be ok but im still worried
