Couple of pics of the SR2, now with the 580's and some serious cable tidying.

    I know, I know, I know!

I was about to take the plunge with the full EK set, but then the 3gb 580's popped up...

I hope to do it soon. :waah:

@bennieboyUK. In the geekbench thread you're listed as your rig running at 3.97GHz. Your sig says 3.5GHz. Which is correct?

Currently 3.5ghz. Working towards 4ghz, I have a new stability issues above 3.8, just not found the time to iron them out.

Sorry.. typo... meant to be 3.07GHz.

    If you're at 3.5... run a Geekbench.

Whoa folks, so many nice comments about my rig. Thanks for all the positives! Even though it is air cooled, has taken a long time to put together and choosing the right parts as much as the putting it together.

So much is down to this forum, so that to everyone that has helped with advise and tips!

Still ALOT to do on it, but slowly getting there :) Gimme another 12 months!

Love how clean this build is, just such a shame that ATI card has those red lines on the side - I smell a mod coming on for you!

    Awesome none the less.

as for the card i do have some black self adhesive vinyl lying around, i never thought about using it to cover the red parts...

nope, no difference in temps whatsoever.
