Ok,... so I finished sketching the designs onto the inner shields. I'm about to go and cut them out now. Here are the pics,...

This actually made me "lol"

 

UUUUUUUUUPDATE.

I center punched all the areas that I have to cut out. This way the drill bit doesnt run around. It is very important that I punch the very center. I dont want to drill pst any of the lines, that could screw up the piece. Seriously.


Here are two of them all drilled out and ready to cut.


Now,... I waisted a ton of time today looking for my scroll saw blades. I couldnt find them ANYWHERE! I think I threw them out by mistake. Anyways,... I hade to go to the store to get more. I got these spiral blades which cut in all directions. They are good for exactly what I plan on using them for,... cutting out shapes.


Here is the second piece almost done. I only got two of them done today. I was kinda slacking offfff,........................... SPONGE BOB! What did I say!!!! No calling for help! Damnit,... don't you ever listen? I'm gettin plankton on your ass now,...


HOOOOOO!!! SHIIIIIIT!!! Plankton, what the hell are you doing!!! I said rough him up,... not cut him in half with my scroll saw!!! DAAAAAAMN!


Dude,... your nuts are history!!! WHA HA HA!!!




AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANYWAYS,.... ha ha,.... yea. Here are the two pieces I finished scroll sawing! Don't they look swell! They still need to be filed down.


Tomorrow I will finish these pieces,... no slacking off. Peace!!!

That yellow spoung make modding fun. Yeah m8 since the last time I check this thread allot was updated. Nice work on the Res mount and also on the Pump mount. I never thought of mounting a Pump that way. Also I like what you did around the area were the orbit LCD display goes, that whole metal bracket is sweet.

This project is off the hock man. Longm, and detail updates + some laughter from the yellow man once in a while. LOL

oh yeah BTW cant wait to see how you bend that metal. What do you do for a living or what gave you the skills and tools to do this?

@ Marquee - I am a nurse aid, LOL. I have some machine shop skills from highschool which was forever ago but most of my skills I got from being creative and logical. If you have problem or a task,... instead of jut solving it or doing it,... take a few minutes to figure out your options and any potential problems. Most of the time everything just comes to mind,... it all makes sense to me for some reason. Can't explain it.
