No, sorry. This question has been asked many times before. Laptop LCDs work with a completely proprietary interface, not involving VGA or S-Video. To get them to work with your graphic card would involve a difficult to obtain decoder circuit that costs several hundreds of pounds/dollars.

 

some people have left the laptop motherboard and hard drive connected an used a program wich i cant remember to do it

3.5mm to RCA female adapter


Male to male RCA cable.

You don't have to have the exact same cables. But you get the idea.

I have a Sapphire Atlantis 9800 pro and I tried the VGA way and got a pretty good picture but every time I turned off the computer then back on the LCD pic would be off center, so I would have to open powerstrip and readjust (don't know if I was even doing that right) I just clicked and arrow up button and the pic would scroll then I would time it right and click the arrow down button and stop it perfect.

So now what I decided to do was just install the S-video, I have video at the RCA, but I am not sure about the mini adapter I plug it into the LCD and nothing happens. I went to radio shack and told them what I needed and this is what they said would work Plug Adapter So my question is, Is this the right plug should it work? I am hoping that this is my problem. if this is the wrong plug what should I get. I told them I needed a mini AV plug.

Samurize Config for 768 x 576 Screens

I thought I'd post my Samurize config up now that it is finally finished...

It's based on the existing PSOne config, which was a pretty cool starting point.

System Temps
CPU & Memory usage
GPU & Memory Clock Speed for ATITool
Weather
Date, Time & UpTime
Azureus downloads
Internet usage
Frames per second
What game you are running

You will need the following to get the best of it:
ATITool
MoBo Manager
FRAPS
Azureus (with statistics logging activated)

Oh and it uses a few plug-ins downloaded from the Samurize site

As this is the first time I've exported a Samurize script there's
bound to be a few things wrong with it so let me know what

Help please I am almost finished!

HELP I am using this plug from radio shack http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102693&cp I have video up to the rca jack, but I do not know about this adpater when plugged onto the rca jack, I get no video to the LCD. Is this the right adapter, should it work? If not please tell me what adapter to get, I told them that I needed a mini av 3.5mm plug and this is what they said to get.

Also I tried the vga method and had pretty good results except a couple of things the color was only 8bits, also everytime I turned off the lcd, then turned it back on the screen would be off set, So I would have to open power strip and readjust, even after click lock (everything thatI could lock) in power strip.

I can't vouch for that exact adapter. Right now I am using a 3.5mm to RCA male and a mini S-video to RCA femalel. I'm using a BFG 6800 Ultra video. I couldn't find a 3.5mm-RCA male anywhere in my neighborhood, so I am using one that came with digital camera.
I hope this will help.

when you do the import for the samurize it is looking for a .sam file

My question is the layout that ou have and all the file are a .zip and if I extract them then they are all non.sam files.

How do you install this?

A .zip file is an archive that contains files. you need to extract the contents of the zip file.
Xp does this but there are many toolos out there that are better.

What I am saying is that I can and did extract them and they are files (all non.sam files). But the import thing for samurize is looking for a .sam file.

So how do I import this stuff to make it look like the above if the files are not .sam files?
