I was asked the other day by a friend what my dream car would be. I took a long time to think about this as it is obviously a hard choice. Ive allways been a fan of the classic americans so it would probably have to be a 1968 Dodge Charger R/T I just love the car it looks cool and has a 7.2 litre supercharged 440 Hemi V8 which sounds awesome to hear and say. Please note the 1968 model was not featured in dukes of rubish. And i cant understand why anyone would put dukes of hazzard on such a beutiful car. So i decided to ask you guys the same question. Whats your dream Car???? add pics as well if u want
I'm thinking right now it would be something like the Nissan GTR. A sportscar that still isn't utterly useless on roads. I really admire when the designers/engineers when they manage to balance those things. I guess I'm just that boring. Also for as long as gasoline costs over 1,3 €/liter and I don't have a license, it's hardly even a dream. I don't see myself tinkering with anything old, and as for the ride and safety, it's just not a competition...
1971 Baldwin Motion Vega (Phase III) Motion Chevrolet GUARANTEED 10 sec. 1/4 mile ETs with their small block Vega...or they would buy it back! john
NSX just like vecspeed12's from hondatech.com I give myself 4 or 5 years before I get one. Screw the big house and all, I want this baby while I'm young per-fec-tion
2010 Hennessey Z700 - Corvette ZR1 they only have renders of the 2010 version though heres a vid of the 2009 version notice the gforce meter.
Would have to be an Aston Martin DB9 - love the design, the noise - yes, just about everything about them are perfect! I have owned a classic American muscle car - been there, done that - and whilst fun for a while, it isn't really worth the hassle. It was a 1972 Gran Torino with the big-block V8 (a 460 I seem to remember).
Too many to mention, really... But in my books, nothing beats this for mean: (Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR - or, as they specify it in the configurator on the dodge site: Viper SRT10 in b-trim) and few things beat this for a fun little weekend number Lotus Exige S But really - too many to mention (Astons, Jags, Ferraris, vintage 'vettes, vintage mustangs, charger, challenger, etc). Strangely enough, not many japanese ones in there...
Ariel Atom 500 - totally impractical, but if I could afford one of those, I'd be able to afford a £900 banger for practicality..
For a dream car, its got to be one of these (or a Veyron): I love the Murcielago and this is the best one. A cheaper dream car would be a Nissan GTR, they're an absolute bargain at £55k.
Was thinking the same thing, I just wish there was a cheaper version that I might actually be able to afford.
Totally impractical? No, not at all - it's even got a boot. But I see your point; would absolutely love one of those as a toy.
