    ...And Campos as well..
Talks are going on between the two teams, as it looks like neither one will be ready.

The lineup for testing this weekend, not for the whole season. They've confirmed it now so I'll add it to the original post.

That does look pretty sweet, shame he's "only" the test driver.

Apparently Campos are still going and are set to announce Karun Chandhok as F1's second ever Indian driver:

Interesting blog/forum post over at the beeb, debating which rookies will come and go this year.

The big ponderer for me is Senna - he's got such a huge amount expected from him that I worry he won't get anywhere. If he's as talented as the late Senna said, he could be very good indeed. If he falters, even slightly, under the immense expectations he'll be washed out and branded a milker of the late Senna's name.

Agreed, If campos turn up to the fight then sennas got one hell of a season ahead of him, like the blog says: if hes slow hes a disgrace, if hes quick hes not 'THE' senna. lose lose, the only thing that can save that problem is winning races and in a car that hasnt been tested ( i doubt hes even sat in the damn thing!) winning isnt really an option.

Less pressure lately, though. Alguersuari did rather well under pressure. Grosjean did ok as well.
The last super-talented rookie to come into F1 (Lewis), came in with a massive team behind him, and could challenge for the world championship immediately as a consequence of having the team.

    Edit:
Oh, and Barca Testing day 2 commentary

Guys.. do you all have any idea why most of team didn't bring aero update for the barcelona test?? I want to see the improvement of Lotus team aero update.. they look so slow compared to virgin, or the barcelona test is for testing the reliability of the car and also finding some setups?

Lotus are slow mainly due to the fact that they haven't had as much running as Virgin, and both teams are slower than everyone else due to the fact that they're new, and have had to start from a clean sheet.

Everyone else has based their cars in part on last years models. As for no Aero updates - No idea, but considering that Virgin didn't bring any spare front wings to the first test, I'm guessing it's down to cost / cash flow.

Lotus & VR will be fighting over the scraps at each race.

Hmm.. no luck for the new teams this year as they will struggling alot to keep pace with the bigger teams. It is all about money.. more money.. the best car can be produce.

Interesting piece from the Beeb's live coverage:
Looks like the Ferrari really is pretty quick, putting in that kind of time in pre-season trim, with narrower front tyres and longer wheelbase too.

To be fair Button would have been carrying his first stint's worth of fuel in qualifying last year, who knows how much Alonso was carrying though. Probably more than Hulkenburg though, he only did 2laps in his fastest run.

The fastest race lap last year at barcelona was a 1′22.762, I know it doesnt really help to work out where the new cars are, but imo the cars are running similar pace as last year.
