thats a nice looking case. I liked it the first time I saw it. You've also got a nice tidy set up going on, loads of space inside that thing. Have you given it all a shake down yet?

Nice job Pete, well done mate.

    Looks great man!!

As for the night shots, a tripod would be awesome (of something equally as stable), and if you can decrease the shutter speed a bit, from theore you should be good.

Ah and to add to that. My trick is to do it in day light and close the curtains, gives a nice effect with out being totally black and the rig shining like a light house.

I've OC'd my CPU to 4GHz @ 1.32v @ less than 60C, so not too bad, but my GPU refuses to OC, I think its faulty but I hope it lasts till the end of the year atleast...

And I'll give those tips a go :)

Bought Custom PC today, to have a look, does this mean I get a prize or something?

And I wish they'd used my new Elysium build...

Just wanted some opinions, which is better to trust, Asus Probe for CPU readings or CoreTemp?

I've never found Probe reliable enough to trust. I've seen temperature swings up to 255ºC when it gets confused i.e. by using it.

I've never had any probs with it in the past, but I tend to use CPU-Z HWMonitor always found it to be accurate apart from when it throws a dodgy reading on the voltage, but thats seems to be isolated to X58/i7 gear.

Yeh, your 20KW CPU I believe...

I now use Coretemp, and it's much more accurate :)

This wasn't easy to find but http://www.photographyblog.com/reviews/canon_powershot_a495_review/specifications/

It appears you have a long shutter mode, I don't know how you get to it but it shouldn't be too difficult, though if you aren't sure refer to your camera manual for shooting modes.

It also looks like you can have up to 15 seconds exposure time. though between 1-3 should be enough depending on how bright you want it. If you don't have a tripod rest it on a sturdy surface(a pile of good books could work) and set the timer so you aren't pressing the shutter yourself.

I hope this helps, very keen to see some night shots of your work.

    Hey mate,

don't worry about it! I'm clueless about watercooling and braiding and your post has been inspirational so thought I'd help you out.

May I ask what made you go for the xigmatek case? it looks nice inside but it has stiff competition around that price range... though I have the asguard for my server and it's really well built for £24.. just curious for when I upgrade my Stacker.
