It's a lot of fun... Gives the PC a background story.. "Wonder how that happened, or where it's been?" ...Love it.

EEL's video is just like a Movie teaser

Log Update #30 - Project Completed

    Project has been wrapped up!

I plan on dropping off the rig shortly with my best friend; I can't wait to see his reaction when he sees it. Aside from the actual "chase"; or the modding experience itself, those are the moments I enjoy. Seeing the look of amazement (or alternatively, disappointment) when someone sees a new rig.

    Special thanks to my sponsors:

Without them, this project wouldn't have been possible.

The final photos have finally been completed. Whew. Enjoy!

    Now for some digital legacy...

    hahaha, thanks, man!

I'm actually a little sad as well. I've grown a bit attached to this case even though it's really only been alive for a few weeks
....Oh well. Moving on to the next one! :hehe:

LOL. Is it bad that I could hear the song looking at that gif?

    Thanks, m8!

Thanks, Scott! I appreciate the kind words.

Thanks for the kind words, man!

Hey Skullen! Long time no-see. Glad you're back!

    Thanks, m8!

Thanks, Waynio! I appreciate the kind words. Yeah, one of the perks of being able to just make your own -- keep the youtube dogs from nipping your ankles.

E.E.L this case is outstanding! Another amazing piece of work:D
I have been really inspired to get going with my post apocalyptic desert look case mod on a beige box, just ordered the desert military vehicle base paint.
Time to experiment with distressing rattlecan paint and layering with stencils.

One question, where did you get the yellow lamps that you used in the rear of the case?
I can find loads of dashboard lamps with the (fresnel type) concentric rings here in the UK, but not the spotted type.

Thanks, m8. I'm glad you've been inspired. Hearing (er, reading) that makes me feel like I've accomplished part of my job. And I wish you well on the journey ahead of you! Experimenting is the name of the game.

The incandescent-look lamps are some of my favorites; I've used them in other mods and the ambers are my particular favorite. Other colors, not so much. They work really well for 'steampunk' type stuff too because of the style. Just a typical 12v lamp, etc. I've always gotten mine from Performance-PCs, but I'm sure there must be a supplier across the pond? Fresnels are cool too, though!

    No, no, thank you!
I'm not ready to start posting, but hope to document my first 'proper' case mod on BT.
With support like this, I feel well on the way.
I first noticed those lamps on the Serenity Firefly mod by MNPCTech; more amazing stuff to be inspired with.
I'll carry on looking over this side for them, now I've seen them on Performance-PCs.
    Meanwhile I have a
The PC part is pretty well sorted for starters (it always mutates on the way...) and the rig runs fine on test.
I did think I was a steampunk person, but I'm c**p with wood, the copper is really appealing tho'.
I think I'm more into the distressed look - Bill's District 9 has plenty of that going on too.
I've a couple of front LEDs to mount and an ali front plate to design - look out for a post - don't hold your breath.
Watching to see how Lily PC goes - a change from Bio A10
