Been asked to work tonight..........but did have plans for this afternoon. Which I am now put off doing after checking the movie thread.

Im just feeling a little lack luster in life right now. Kind of dislike my job....work with some complete grade a a holes.

I want my engineering job back.

Somebody hit my car in the snow overnight and drove off. Leaving me with the policy excess and I've now had no car for 4 weeks, will be another week or so until I get it back. It's now been longer in the repair place than we've had it. Our previous car broke down on the way to Scotland and is a write off, leaving us (me, my wife and our dog) hundreds of miles from home and our destination. There was so much more messed up with this I can't even write.

After struggling through public transport we got some of our vacation back and hired a car to get us home which has pretty much decimated anything we had saved up. Family helped us get back on our feet (wheels) with a car and now this. Been driving for about 15 years and never had a claim until now, I am not sure how this will effect my premium going forward.

 

I had to open my fat trap about testing going ok at work today.

Behold! The idiocy of work colleagues.

I was supposed to be out at 12. No chance.

 

Car insurance (£400), Customs charges (£60), V-day bill (£75) and 3 days of spending ~6 hours a day of getting to and from work has made this a VERY expensive week in both time and money.

 

Just got back from Wigan to find the bomb squad and armed police surrounding the whole of Standish because loads of material has been found all over the place. If there's a genuine feeling of worry, this is it.

 

Sick as a dog, and I can't think straight. Ergh.

 

It's taking a while to transfer 1TB of files to my storage drives. Will need to do a backup soon.

When he has had too many he does REALLY dumb stuff, gets really rowdy just play fighting, but i was speaking to said girl in between the band switch over and he LITERALLY jumps on me...

Its awkward enough being in the middle of a venue, but at the same time im getting REALLY close to a girl? WORST WING MAN EVER! anyway he jumps on me and begins flailing rapidly like some hammered alligator completely unaware he had just hit said girl in the face with his stupid flailing arms...

The only redeeming feature of that particular situation is it gave me an excuse to push him off with a quick shunting grasp of the throat (he thought it was hilarious) and go see if she was ok.

It wasn't very hard but i still went up to her cupped her face in my hands and asked her if she was ok she just gave me a really gorgeous smile, blushed and said "Yeh, thankyou thats really sweet!"

Friend hitting her in the face actually was a good thing?

He dropped two glass bottles aswell trying to show off... i was picking out glass from the bottom of my skytops this morning.. not cool man!

 

Pay day needs to come faster £16 to last till the 28th FML

 

Four months using trains and buses to get to work. And finally it has let me down. Train in Wolverhampton to Sandwell and Dudley was cancelled.

Now in Birmingham waiting for a train to Sandwell and Dudley.

Was due to start at 2200. FML!
